After going to Cambodia a few months before, I had been inspired to see as much of the world as possible. At the time, I had never been east of Nevada in the United States. However, I decided that I would take any opportunity to see some of the other states. After browsing twitter, I discovered that there was something called the Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, George. The Walker Stalker Con was a convention for all things Walking Dead related. Being a fan of the show (and now a fan of travel) I decided that I would go.
It was the first time that I had traveled out of the state by myself. It was a great experience, and I definitely felt a lot more independent after going. The whole trip was amazing. Not only did I met a lot of really amazing fellow fans of the show and comic series, but I also got to meet many of the actors, including my favorite, Norman Reedus (who bear hugged me – and I swear I almost died).
It was great to see another part of the county, and I will definitely have to go back to Atlanta again to take a tour of the set and further indulge in my nerdy habits.
